How To Check Your Flange Size?

Not sure if you’re using the correct flange size? Use this method to check if you’re using the correct size for effective pumping.

Step one: Measure your nipple size – after pumping or latching, compare your nipple (excluding the areola) to the follow sizes of the next step

Step two: Look at the size chart 

  • Smaller than 5 cents: use flange with 15mm insert.  Same size as 5 cents: use flange with 17mm insert.
  • Same size or smaller than 10 cents, but bigger than 5 cents: use flange with 19mm insert.
  • Same size or smaller than 20 cents, but bigger than 10 cents: use flange with 21mm insert.
  • Default size included.  Same size or smaller than 50 cents, but bigger than 20 cents: use flange with 25mm insert.
